The Pilates system is recommended for men and women of all body types and fitness levels, ages 14 and up. Equilibrium Pilates works with a diverse clientele — from dancers and athletes to artists, business professionals, senior citizens and students.
Equilibrium Pilates offers private lessons, semi-private lessons, group mat classes and beginners’ workshops in our fully equipped studio. Private lessons are recommended for every level of student, particularly beginners. Private lessons offer the best, safest, and most efficient way to learn Pilates and to start enjoying its many benefits. New students in good physical condition may also sign up for beginners’ workshops to learn the mat work.
Because Pilates exercises are low-impact, even people with certain health conditions and injuries (including back and neck problems) can benefit greatly from Equilibrium’s traditional training. Brie has a deeper understanding of different body types than regular Pilates instructors, which provides a safer, more effective workout. However, as with any exercise regimen, please get your doctor’s approval when starting Pilates.
